Message from the Chairman,

A wiseman once said that the steps you make today determine your tomorrow. Two and a half years ago a step was made and it determined where we are now.
We are the Kenya Methodist Medicine Students Association (KeMUMSA). The core and umbrella body of all Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) students at Kenya Methodist University.
“Be the change that you wish to see in the world” (Mahatma Gandhi). In light to this we seek to do things in a unique and diverse way that will not only change our world but also inspire those around us to do more or simply be the best of themselves.
Purpose driven, changed in pursuit of greatness are simple words that may be used to describe us. We seek a better tomorrow by maximizing on our today. We inspire and challenge the medical student of today to think different and accomplish as much as they can. To my colleagues I leave you with the words of Sontag “Do stuff, clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspirations shove or society’s kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It’s all about paying attention. Attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. Stay eager.”
ROBERT MAINA NJARIA
KeMUMSA CHAIRMAN.
